WHAT ARE THE NATIONAL DOG PORTRAIT AWARDS?
The National Dog Portrait Awards is a photography competition open to dogs and their owners across the UK. We’re on a mission to find the nation’s best professional dog portrait and most photogenic pooch. Whether you’ve got a Poodle with oodles of personality, or a debonair Doberman, we want to see them captured in all their glory.
The 2020 National Dog Portrait Awards kicks off in March 2020 and will run until 12 months after the first monthly winner is announced. Entry cost is just £10 per photo and all profits will go to charity. Think your dog would make a magnificent portrait? Then find your nearest photographer and enter today.
WHERE DO THE CHARITY DONATIONS GO?
When you pay your £10 entry fee, we’ll take a small admin cost then put the remainder into a donation pot. All profits made from the National Dog Portrait Awards will go to charity.
The photographers who come 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the end of year competition will decide which charities receive a donation. The donation breakdown will be as follows: 1st place choice will receive 50% of profits, 2nd place choice will receive 30% of profits and 3rd place choice will receive 20%.
